Where does someone turn, early?

A question, to anyone who works in or around the emergency services.

Where does someone in your service turn, early, before things reach crisis - and do they trust it enough to use it?

Not the crisis line. Not the policy that exists on paper. The real, everyday answer. The thing a person reaches for when they are not okay but not yet in danger, and believe reaching for it will not cost them.

If your service has a good answer, we would like to hear it. The things that work are worth sharing, and too rarely are. If the honest answer is “I’m not sure”, that is worth saying too, because it is the gap this cause exists to close.
